Kurt Ahrens, posing with Carlos Ghys
Brussels, the royal palace
Outside (in between the 2 halls) were two Matra's on display, a 530 in Tour de France lay-out and a replica of the car that Pescarolo crashed in private tests at Le Mans 1969 (the M640).
Kurt Ahrens take a close look at a Formula Junior Stanguellini, in which he became German Champion in 1959.
Kurt Ahrens, Carlos, Norbert (F), Luc and Jean-Pierre (F).
Luc had scanned a Scuderia sticker and printed the logo several times on adhesive paper and cut them out.
As you'll see, the Scuderia badge was all over the place...
Vic ELFORD and KURT AHRENS didn't see each other for 37 years!
Porsche France had a 904 on display and I was told it was a car that belonged to Ferdinand Piëch's sons.
My brother Luc with Kurt Ahrens, Klaus Bischof and Nicole (Porsche museum).
Kurt brought 2 T-shirts for Vic, one had a picture of them after they'd won the Nürburgring 1000km in 1970, the other showed Vic in action in the 908/3 at the Ring in 1971.

Vic ELFORD and Kurt AHRENS, two great Porsche drivers...
